Rhyming Climate Tiger

Tiger, you have every right
To roam the forests of the night.
William Blake’s immortal eye
Could never see the Tiger die.

Asian medicine fuels the trade
So Tiger populations fade.
Panthera Tigris can survive
If we decide that Tigers thrive.

Governments of every hue
Make madder choices every day
As if they know not what to do.
But voters, we will have our say.

For every ton of concrete poured
A ton of CO2 is made.
Nuclear power is badly floored;
Watch Hinkley’s concrete base being laid.

We drill for oil, we drill for gas
With tipping points just years away.
We cut down forest biomass,
Soon, voters, we can have our say.
